WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca Announces 2024 Event Schedule

Laguna Seca is one of the most popular racing destinations in the U.S. — it’s both historic and modern, and continues to be a draw for some of the top motorsports events of the year.

“We are excited to announce our 2024 premier event schedule, which promises to deliver an unforgettable year of motorsport action,” said John Narigi, president and general manager of WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. “With an extremely successful 2023 season behind us, we are dedicated continuing our mission to providing fans with the very best in racing and entertainment experiences.”

The event schedule for 2024:

1. Life Time Sea Otter Classic presented by Continental (April 18 – 24):

The largest and most comprehensive gathering of cycling enthusiasts in the world. The four days include every type of competitive bike racing and recreational tours imaginable. 

2. Trans Am Speedfest (May 2 – 5):

American muscle returns as Trans Am drivers battle it out for first place in the longest-running professional road racing series in North America, and is complemented with vintage racing from the Sportscar Vintage Racing Association.

3. Motul Course de Monterey Powered by Hyundai N (May 10 – 12): 

As part of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, this event will showcase some of the most advanced sports cars and prototypes in endurance racing, battling it out on one of the most challenging circuits in North America.

4. Ferrari Challenge North America (May 17 – 19): 

Returning to Monterey, fans may witness the beauty and power of Ferrari as drivers push the limits of performance.

5. Firestone Grand Prix of Monterey (June 21 – 23): 

The NTT INDYCAR SERIES continues its enjoyment of racing in Monterey with new dates. The open wheel series brings international talent to the track.

6. MotoAmerica Superbike Speedfest at Monterey (July 12 – 14):

World class Superbikes and the Monterey-born King of The Baggers series are a part of the five classes of premier modern-day racing as riders compete wheel-to-wheel.

7. Monterey Pre-Reunion & Corkscrew Hillclimb (August 10 – 11):  

Explore row after row of authentic historic race cars before enjoying the track. Then on Sunday, experience the thrill of cars flying reverse course up the Corkscrew to the finish in fun and exciting exhibition classes.

8. Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion (August 14 – 17):

One of the world’s preeminent historic car race festivals features an incredible array of 400-plus invited race cars to compete as they once did. For many, it is a trip down memory lane.
