At this year’s Pebble Beach Auctions on August 16 and 17, Gooding & Company will present a 1937 Bugatti Type 57SC Atalante with its original chassis, coachwork and matching-numbers engine.
The car is one of just 17 with Jean Bugatti-designed Atalante coachwork. This car was displayed at the 1937 Paris Salon de l’Automobile and at the Earls Court Motor Show, and it was owned by both Vojta Mashek and Dr. Peter Williamson. It was awarded a Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance First in Class at that event in 2023.
It’s estimated to be worth between $9m and $11m.
