Peter Auto’s historic racing season is about to make a stop at Mugello — a place where some of Italy’s greatest motor racing battles have taken place. From April 5 through April 7, over 300 cars will take to the historic Italian track in nine grids, including GTs, sports cars, prototypes, touring cars and more, dating from the 1950s through the 1990s.
Mugello dates from 1914, featuring 15 turns over 5.245 kilometers.

New this year is the Gentlemen Challenge — a grid that focuses on the battles that took place between European motor industry thoroughbreds in the 1960s. This is where cars such as the Ferrari 250 GT SWB, the Alfa Romeo TZ and others fought for supremacy alongside smaller makes such as OSCA and Abarth. Restored examples will take to the track once again as part of Peter Auto’s presentation. Three Ferrari 250 GT SWBs are already confirmed for the grid — #2069GT, #3401GT and #3107GT.
Beyond that, three Maserati MC12 GT1s will battle it out in the Endurance Racing Legends grid — and Zak Brown’s team will be on-site, as well as 24 Hours of Le Mans LMP2 champ Richard Dean with a 1990 Jaguar XJR-10 and 1981 Porsche 935.
Attendees can purchase tickets ahead of the event — access to the terrace and central grandstand is €15, with discounts for ACI members and those under 18. Access to the circuit itself is free.
