A new concours — one that celebrates the car life as much as the cars — will happen in Miami, FL, from January 28-30, 2022 at the JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa.
The Motorcar Cavalcade Concours d’Elegance will showcase iconic and amazing cars — in specially themed displays that welcome many different types of cars, from classics to modern hypercars, said Jason Wenig, owner of The Creative Workshop and co-event director of the Motorcar Cavalcade.
“It’s going to be a exquisite garden party, where we mix modern and classic cars and celebrate the art of the car,” Wenig said. “Our unique take will include great fashion — we want people to dress up — great food, great drinks and iconic cars in a judged concours.
“We are going to celebrate the art of the car in Miami — and the people that love cars — and where the weather will be great.”
Wenig said the spectacle of beautiful cars at an exclusive garden party will appeal to people who live for cars — and those who know little about cars.
“It will be like going to the Kentucky Derby,” he said. “You don’t have to know a lot about horses to go and have a great time. The event is so great that you have to be there.”
People who aren’t yet car people may well become car people before the event is over, while car people will revel in everything, Wenig said.
