If names like Isetta, Mini, Messerschmitt or Peel get your attention, then longtime enthusiasts Larry Claypool, Burt Richmond and Jeff Lane have a new club for you.
The MicroMini Car Club is all about cleverly constructed and uniquely small personal transportation. The newly formed organization has one mission: to preserve the interest, use, repair and collecting of diminutive vehicles — those small machines that came about from leftover war materials, helped to rebuild economies and got people moving once again. They’ll be doing this at shows across the country — and at the Micro/Mini Car World Meet at the Gilmore Museum in Hickory Corners, MI, scheduled for June 18 and 19, 2021.
The MicroMini Car Club will produce an online-only club newsletter with show announcements, restoration profiles, how-to coverage, classifieds for cars and parts and more.
