Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion Poster Celebrates Corvette’s 70th

This year’s Monterey Motorsports Reunion will be filled with V8 thunder — or more specifically, Corvette thunder.

The 49th edition of the popular vintage racing event, scheduled for August 16-19 at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, is set to celebrate Corvette’s 70th anniversary. It’ll do so with a wide range of historic Corvette racers on-site, many of which will be roaring around Laguna Seca throughout Monterey Car Week.

For this year’s event, artist Bill Patterson has created a unique Corvette poster, which will be available to purchase on-site at the event, and will be used on select merchandise available at the raceway store during the event.

“Corvette is a marque that is not only a great American icon, but it has built an international following as well,” said artist Bill Patterson, who has been associated with WeatherTech Raceway for more than 18 years.

“The challenge to tell the incredible story of Corvette in a single painting is daunting and, in fact, impossible. With this in mind, I can focus on creating an image satisfying to me, and, hopefully, to every participant and fan at this year’s Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion. I’m grateful to be a motorsports artist, and am thrilled to have the passion of Corvette and its fans to inspire me!”
