This June, RM Sotheby’s will present a single-owner collection of Rolls-Royce and Bentley cars in Liechtenstein. The collection — built up over nearly three decades — consists of 25 cars that will be offered mostly without reserve.
Highlights of the collection include a 1933 Rolls-Royce Phantom II Special Town Car by Brewster, a 1938 Rolls-Royce Wraith Sedanca de Ville by Park Ward, a 1958 Bentley S1 Continental Drophead Coupe by Park Ward, the 1947 Bentley Mark VI Dropped Coupe “Maharaja of Baroda,” and a 1963 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III Drophead Coupe Adaptation by Mulliner Park Ward.
The cars are stored in a purpose-built facility and have been the subject of a dedicated book — factors that hint at the kind of conditions we can expect to see here. RM Sotheby’s specialists point out that these cars were all sourced from the world’s finest collections and are each impressive on their own merits — and the collection is that much more compelling because of it.
The sale will be held in person, with limited attendance and all relevant COVID-19 restrictions.
