Few things get more attention in the car world than a rare Shelby car.
A real one-of-one car is even more special.
Worldwide Auctioneers is putting a one-of-one 1968 Shelby GT500KR convertible — according to the Elite Marti Report — on the block during their April 22-23 Enthusiast Auction at company headquarters in Auburn, IN.
Only 318 Shelby GT500KR cars were built in 1968, and this car has all the right bits and pieces, including that 428-ci Cobra-Jet engine stuffed into the engine compartment. No other Shelby GT500KR car has the combination of the Wimbledon White exterior, Saddle vinyl interior and black convertible top.
Will a one-of-one color combination push this Shelby GT500KR, which is already a rare car, into the stratosphere?
We’ll find out on April 23.
