Motorcar Cavalcade — an innovative concours that pits classics and modern supercars against each other in eclectic classes — will start the 2023 collector car year on January 14-15 at the JW Marriott Turnberry Resort & Spa in warm Miami, Florida.

Some of the 16 classes include:

Doors: Gullwing, Pocket, Suicide, Scissors, Canopy

Tails: Fin, Spoiler, Kamm

Glass: Curved, Split, Monocle, Flat

Sound: From Antique to Muscle to Hypercar

Paint: Color and Combinations

Different kinds of cars from different eras compete against each other in each class, which is unique to Motorcar Calvacade. The judges come from many different backgrounds, including engineering, fashion and sports.

The Concours d’Elegance, on January 15, is really a huge garden party, with guests dressed to the nines indulging in food, drink, lifestyle displays — and the field of outstanding cars. It’s one of the great days of the collector-car year, and it arrives when many of us need it the most.

“The Motorcar Cavalcade is an event where collectors and enthusiasts gather to share their love and passion for the automobile with friends, family and admirers,” said Jason Wenig, Motorcar Cavalcade co-Executive Director. “We are proud to once again partner with the Warren Henry Auto Group for this extraordinary event, and it is our honor to provide an incredible gathering that helps support the American Cancer Society. The JW Marriott provides an unmatched setting during the warm, tropical winter that has made South Florida such a famous destination. Simply put, this is an event not to be missed.”

On January 14, concours participants will air their cars out on the Speed & Style Rally — the route goes through Miami, with special stops on the route. The tour ends with an exclusive party at the Bentley Residences.

Now is the time to submit your car for entry — or reserve your tickets. For more information, visit www.motorcarcavalcade.com.
