Monterey Auction Catalogs are Live

This year’s Monterey Car Week auctions kick off in just a few short weeks — and their auction catalogs are now live.

Gooding & Company’s 20th anniversary event is slated to offer a number of rare lots on August 16 and 17, including a 1938 Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B Lungo Spider, the first Porsche 935 built, a 1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spider, a 1955 Ferrari 857 Sport Spider, a 1955 Porsche 550 Spyder and many, many more. At RM Sotheby’s 27th Monterey auction, look for the very first 1960 Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spider produced, along with 1955 Ferrari 410 Sport Spider that was driven to victory by Carroll Shelby, a 1957 Ferrari 625 TRC Spider, the 1964 Shelby 289 Cobra “Snake Charmer,” a 1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ, a 1936 Mercedes-Benz 540K Cabriolet A, and a number of 1990s supercars, including four Vectors. Broad Arrow Auctions will present a 1957 Maserati 200Si by Fantuzzi at its sale on August 14 and 15, as well as a 2003 Ferrari Enzo, a 1998 RUF Turbo R Limited, a 1913 Mercer 35-J Raceabout, a 1964 Porsche 904 Carrera GTS and a 1997 Porsche 911 GT1 Rennversion. See all the consignments here.

BonhamsCars has consigned a 1964 Ferrari 250 GT/L Lusso, 1957 BMW 507 Series II roadster and a 1905 Clement-Bayard 4-Cylinder 20/24 HP Touring Car to its Quail Lodge auction, alongside a 1993 Porsche 959 Komfort “Series II,” a 1971 Porsche 911 S/T Coupe, a 2021 Ford GT Mk II and a 1971 Mercedes-Benz 280SE 3.5 Cabriolet. Mecum’s annual Monterey auction, held August 15 through August 17, will present a 1969 Ford GT40 Lightweight, a 1967 Chevrolet Corvette L88 convertible, a 1970 Plymouth Hemi ’Cuda convertible, a 1959 Porsche 718 RSK Center Seat, a 1992 Schuppan-Porsche 962CR, a 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 Lightweight and the 1960 Scarab Formula One among its many lots on offer.
