Mecum is known for hosting massive auctions with thousands of cars to choose from — but in December, the auction house is thinking smaller. A lot smaller.
Mecum’s On Time online platform will be offering the Ken Weger Collection of Microcars — 57 such small lots that range from the 1954 Opperman Unicar to a very rare Velam Isetta. The timed auction will close on December 12, with the lots all assembled for viewing in Woodstock, IL each Saturday ahead of the auction.
Other lots on offer from the Small Wonders Collection include a Crosley Super Sport, a Zundapp Janus, the Carden Cyclecar and a little gullwing creation called The Bamby.
