The Linkage team is heading to Arizona next week for concours and auction events — and you can catch up with us while we’re there.
Here’s a look at where we’ll be.
Linkage Publisher Donald Osborne will serve as co-emcee during the 2024 Arizona Concours d’Elegance on Sunday, January 21 at the Scottsdale Civic Center.
Osborne returns to the Arizona Concours to co-emcee with Amanda Busick, Fox Sports motorsports presenter and reporter.
This theme of this year’s concours is “The Art of Automotive Design.”
On Saturday, January 20, Osborne will moderate a special seminar: “The Art and Process of Automotive Design” from noon to 2 p.m. at the Scottsdale Civic Center Library Auditorium.
Seminar panelists include:
Ralph Gilles, Stellantis Chief Design Officer.
Ken Kelzer, former General Motors Global Vice President of Engineering.
Jiyan Cadiz, a veteran marketing and public relations professional who has worked at Ford and Fiat Chrysler.

On Tuesday, January 23, Linkage Managing Editor Jim Pickering will join contributors Jay Harden. Sam Stockham, Tyson Hugie and Sean Morris at Barrett-Jackson for a Collector Car Symposium. The topic is Predicting Tomorrow’s Collectibles — what is on the brink of being hot in the market and why?
The team will present their picks and then discuss why they chose them, with time for questions at the end.
This symposium starts at 11 am and runs until noon, hosted in the Equidome near the main auction stage. It’s free to attend, but Barrett-Jackson admission is required to get in. The event takes place at WestWorld of Scottsdale, 16610 N. Pima Rd, Scottsdale.
This event will be live-streamed on Barrett-Jackson’s site — so no need to worry if you can’t make it in person.
After the seminars, Linkage will also have a booth at the Bonhams auction from January 23 through January 25. Come by and see Executive Editor Chester Allen and Managing Editor Jim Pickering, renew your subscription and get a special show deal!
