The Tony Vincent Collection — nine classics from the 1930s and 1940s — will cross the block at Gooding & Company’s 2022 Pebble Beach Auctions on August 19-20.
The Tony Vincent Collection includes:
A 1937 Mercedes-Benz 540K Sport Cabriolet that has won multiple awards at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. The pre-sale estimate for this car is $1.75 million to $2 million.
A 1934 Rolls-Royce Phantom II Continental Streamlined Saloon with alloy coachwork by Park Ward Ltd. This car a history of past concours awards, including at Pebble Beach. The pre-sale estimate is $800,000 to $1.2 million.
A 1939 Delage D8-120 Cabriolet Grand Luxe with rare coachwork by Chapron. This car won Most Elegant Open Car at the 2005 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. The pre-sale estimate for this car is $800,000 to $1.2 million.
Vincent, a Hollywood and Las Vegas choreographer who went on create an international real estate empire, collected and cherished coachbuilt classics. He was very well known in the collector car world.
