Go or No Go? We Update the 2021 Concours and Vintage Racing Calendar

Most of the 2020 concours and vintage racing season was lost, as the world shut down right after the Amelia Island Concours in March.

Where do we stand right now with the 2021 season?

It’s becoming increasingly clear that at least one — and probably several — COVID-19 vaccines will be released in the near future. However, COVID-19 cases are rampaging through the United States and other countries right now.

Health experts say it is likely that vaccines will be widely available by June 2021.

So, while remembering that this schedule could change, here’s where concours and vintage car events scheduled for the first half of 2021 — January through May — stand right now:

Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique

The 24th Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique is scheduled for January 30 through February 3, 2021.

Boca Raton Concours d’ Elegance

The Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance, always a favorite Florida destination each winter, is postponed until February 25-27, 2022.

Amelia Island Concours d’ Elegance

The 2021 Amelia Island Concours plans to put on their 26th weekend from March 4-7, 2021. Many seminars will meet outdoors and have limited seating. Luckily, this is Florida! All events will feature mandatory social distancing, masks and hand sanitizer.

Werks Reunion Amelia Island

This popular Porsche Club of America event happens during the Amelia Island Concours weekend, and it’s a go for 2021. The Weeks Reunion is scheduled for March 5 at the Amelia River Golf Club. Masks and social distancing are required.
