Broad Arrow Auctions is presenting a special all-Porsche auction in celebration of the marque’s 75 years in business. The event, which is to take place at the new Porsche Experience Center in Atlanta on June 10, will feature notable examples from the company’s history.
Among the lots to be offered is a 1967 Porsche 910 — one of 27 such cars built for the ’67 season, and one that was raced throughout 1968 and 1969 by Vic Elford, Bill Bradley, John Fitzpatrick, Tony Dean and Gijs van Lennep. It took first in class at the 1969 Spa 1000 kms. Broad Arrow will be presenting it here as lot 251 with an estimate of $2.8m to $3.4m.
In more modern terms, a 2004 Carrera GT in special “Speedster Blue” will be available as well — the same hue that was optioned on 356 Pre-A Porsches. This is a U.S.-market car with just 2,300 miles from new, and is still fitted with its original five-piece fitted luggage set in Dark Gray leather. It’s lot 219, expected to bring from $1.5m to $1.8m.
Every car in this auction is special — and you can now see them all, as the complete Broad Arrow catalog is live here.
