The 7th edition of Chantilly Arts et Elegance Richard Mille, took place on Sunday, September 15 on the grounds of the Château de Chantilly north of Paris, France.
Since its creation in 2014, Chantilly Arts & Elegance Richard Mille has grown into one of the most prestigious international concours.
This year, 28,000 spectators admired the various cars in the running for awards, including the 10 concept cars entered for the Concours d’Elegance. The event draws its inspiration from Concours d’Elegance events of the 1920s, with special cars built by famous coachbuilders exhibited alongside elegant women dressed in the latest French fashions.
Beyond the 10 cars in the Concours d’Elegance, almost 100 cars from around the globe were included in the Concours d’État: The Most Beautiful Cars in the World. This event awarded two Best of Show titles by era. The competitions were judged by a jury of fifty personalities offering a wide mix of cultures and origins.
In addition, forty clubs brought together 900 cars for the Garden Party, which was open to the public.
The winner of the Concours d’Elégance was the Lancia Pu+Ra HPE. The Public Prize was awarded to the Bugatti Tourbillon.
An exceptional car won the jury’s support for the award of the Best of Show for Pre-War cars: a Bugatti T35 C.
A Talbot-Lago T26 GS Coupé was awarded the Best of Show for Post-War cars.
“For my first edition of Chantilly Arts & Elegance Richard Mille, I was deeply impressed by the incredible quality and diversity of the vehicles on display, as well as by the strong presence of the manufacturers,” said Marc Ouayoun, Managing Director Peter Auto. “This event represents a unique opportunity for them to showcase their heritage while unveiling the concepts that are shaping the future. I am honored to be taking over from Patrick Peter, who created this exceptionally elegant event. A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of this day, from the partners to the organizers, from the judges to the visitors, who gave this event all its magic and refinement. I would especially like to thank our partner Richard Mille, without whom none of this would be possible.”
