Concours at Wynn Las Vegas Announces 2024 Winners

The third annual Concours at Wynn Las Vegas, presented by Richard Mille, took place from Friday, Nov. 1 through Sunday, Nov. 3. In total, 275 vehicles were on display across five categories: Concours d’Elegance, Speed, Culture, Innovation and Ultra-Luxury and Coach Built.

Two vehicles from the judged Concours d’Elegance category took the coveted Best of Show for Pre- and Post-War periods, alongside three honorary Helene recipients. Twenty vehicles were recognized with various other designations.

“This year’s Concours at Wynn Las Vegas was absolutely exceptional and attracted more attendees than ever before,” said Brian Gullbrants, COO North America, Wynn Resorts. “This year’s success wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible, generous support of our dedicated partners, sponsors, exhibitors, esteemed judges, and friends. We are excited to continue building our Concours event in the years to come, further solidifying Wynn Las Vegas as a premier destination for automotive enthusiasts.”

Best of Show winners include:

Best of Show Pre-War: 1931 Duesenberg Model J Taper Tail Speedster by Weymann, presented by the General William Lyon family of Coto de Caza, CA.

This 1931 Duesenberg J carries a one-of-a-kind “Taper Tail” speedster body designed by Weymann Chief Designer Gordon Buehrig. Mounted on a short wheelbase chassis, this model was built to order for Walter Varney, a businessman and pilot from San Francisco who is credited with inventing commercial aviation. This Taper Tail lacks exterior door handles and features unusual elements such as a single-person rumble seat and pontoon fenders.

Best of Show Post-War: 1963 Ferrari 250 GTO Berlinetta by Scaglietti, presented by David MacNeil of Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Designed, built, and raced by legendary members of Ferrari’s factory racing program, Giotto Bizzarrini and Sergio Scaglietti, this 1963 Ferrari 250 GTO was delivered to French Racer Pierre Dumay and finished second in class and fourth overall at the 1963 24 Hours of Le Mans.
