Carlisle Events is set to once again take over the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds for its annual Carlisle Import & Performance Nationals. The two-day event — slated for May 12 and 13 — will feature vehicles from no less than eight countries around the world, including the U.S., Germany, Italy, Japan, the UK, France, Sweden and Korea. The thousands in attendance can wander the vast show field — which is organized by country — attend seminars, do some parts shopping and much more.
Special features at the 2023 event include a Rolls-Royce display, 50 years of the Honda Civic and race-prepared vehicles. This year’s spectacle will also highlight French vehicles and the cars from German powerhouse Audi. Of course, there is also the general field of cars, with both judged and non-judged options for participants.
Not just a static show, those displaying their cars can also choose to partake in on-site competitions including autocross, rolling burnouts and donuts, and drifting. Other options for drivers wanting in on the action are drift limbo, low car limbo and a rolling exhaust competition.
For those on the judged show field, awards will be given out for a number of categories. These include club awards for the largest and coolest club, and Carlisle Elite award winners chosen by Carlisle Events’ staff.
