On April 27, BonhamsCars will return to Middletown, RI to present “The Gilded Age” — an auction that will feature a number of Pre-War collector car lots. Headlining this sale is a 1912 Isotta-Fraschini Tipo PM Roadster that’s thought to be one of only three survivors of its type.
The Tipo PM was built from 1911 through 1912, and only about 60 of the chain-driven models were completed. This car has its original coachwork by Carrozzeria Pavesi & Crespi of Milan and was restored in 2011 and 2012. After that work in 2012, it was presented at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, where it took second in its class.
In addition to the IF, Bonhams will also offer a 1904 Cadillac Model B Rear Entrance Tonneau, a 1910 Buick Model 17 Five Passenger Touring, a 1905 Franklin Model F Touring, a 1911 Cadillac Model 30 Three/Four Passenger Touring, a 1931 Ford Model A Deluxe Phaeton, a 1910 Cadillac Model 30 Three Passenger Roadster and a 1911 Ford Model T Runabout, among others. Most will be offered for sale without reserve.
The auction starts at 11 AM eastern time on April 27. Learn more here.
