Barrett-Jackson Brings Late-Model Supercars to Vegas

Barrett-Jackson’s annual summer event in Las Vegas is just around the corner, taking place from June 22-24. In addition to the muscle, classics and sports cars that always are on offer here at no reserve, this year’s event will also bring with it a notable collection of late-model performance vehicles to market.

Chief among the modern performance offerings is a 2021 Ferrari SF90 hybrid supercar — a 986-horse monster that draws its power from the combination of a twin-turbo V8 and three electric motors. This combo is good for sprints to 60 in 2.5 seconds, and the car features active aerodynamics to optimize downforce and therefore boost performance. It’s thought that just 499 units were built for sale — and this one shows 4,050 actual miles. It’ll be offered as lot 741 with no reserve.

In addition, lot 749 is a 2019 Ford GT with the coveted Lightweight Package, which saves 40 pounds over the standard GT thanks to carbon fiber wheels and a titanium exhaust system. The 3.5-L EcoBoost V6 makes 647 horses — and this particular example has had just one owner from new.

A 2020 Aston Martin DBS Superleggera will also be on-site, fitted with a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission, a spitter, carbon fiber diffuser and smoked rear lamps. These cars feature 715 hp from their twin-turbo 5.2-L V12s — but in true Aston style, they’re refined and composed in their presentation of such power.

“These supercars crossing our block in Las Vegas will be among the most anticipated vehicles on the docket,” said Steve Davis, president of Barrett-Jackson. “The electricity in the arena for these elite cars will be incredible when they roll up on our block as bidders compete for a chance to take one home. I encourage everyone to join us in Las Vegas and experience the excitement in the air during the auction of these highly coveted automobiles.”

The Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas auction takes place at the West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center from June 22-24. See the compete docket of cars to be offered here.
