Amongst the big prices achieved at Barrett-Jackson’s annual January event in Arizona was another bit of news: This year, the company will be returning to its headlining Scottsdale venue again for a fall event, held October 10 through October 13.
“For decades Barrett-Jackson has listened to its customers, expanding into the automotive lifestyle event that it is today by reflecting what our bidders and consignors appreciate the most,” said Craig Jackson, Barrett-Jackson chairman and CEO in a press release posted to the Barrett-Jackson site. “After we hosted an auction in Scottsdale in October 2020, we received incredible feedback on how everyone enjoyed coming to this destination city that time of year. For more than 50 years, we’ve made Scottsdale the epicenter of the collector car universe every January and we look forward to solidifying that title year-round in 2024.”
This four-day event will have the same elements as seen in January, including entertainment and lifestyle features. The cars will be offered in typical no-reserve fashion, with a wide range of tasted represented.
“The demand for Barrett-Jackson, and particularly this location here in Scottsdale has led to an increasingly unprecedented number of consignments for our January auction, with hundreds of significant quality vehicles being deferred to other auctions every year,” said Steve Davis, president of Barrett-Jackson. “I’m confident that bringing two events to this city will help satisfy the appetite we’re seeing from enthusiasts across the board.”
Barrett-Jackson’s calendar for 2024 includes the Palm Beach auction, which runs in Palm Beach, Florida from April 18 through April 20, and now the new Scottsdale Fall auction in October.
