Citing local and international concerns over COVID-19, the Amelia Island Concours today announced it will move its traditional March event to May 20-23, 2021.
Almost immediately thereafter, RM Sotheby’s, which produces the official auction of the Amelia Island Concours, announced their own move to May 22, 2021. The event will remain a one-day affair, held live alongside the concours.
“Moving the date allows more time for the vaccine to be distributed.” said Bill Warner, Founder and Chairman of the concours. “Additionally, hosting the concours in May will likely increase attendance and the corporate partnerships that allow our 501(c)(3) charitable foundation to continue its mission of providing resources for those in need on Florida’s First Coast and beyond.”
