The Amalgam Collection goes to extremes in scale models.

Their latest creation is a 43-inch-long model of the 2022 Ferrari F1-75 car that Charles Leclerc drove to victory at the Bahrain Grand Prix on March 20, 2022.

This 1:5 scale model is very large — and very detailed.

“Following detailed scrutiny by the engineering and design teams at Scuderia Ferrari, our first completed prototype model received unanimous praise and approval,” said Sandy Copeman, Amalgam brand director.

Delivery of the models is scheduled for the middle of the year, and 40 models of the limited 50-piece edition have already been delivered to a significant partner of Amalgam. This model was developed for Scuderia Ferrari and their official partners and sponsors.

There are seven remaining 1:5 scale models, and that probably means a rush to sign up — and pay up. Amalgam has not released the price for this model, but it will not be cheap.

Smaller-scale models of the Ferrari F1-75 are available in 1:8 scale (27 inches long) and 1:18 scale (12 inches long). Serious Ferrari collectors can also get a full-sized model of the car’s steering wheel. There are also miniature replicas of the car’s nosecone (1:12 scale) and steering wheel (1:4 scale).

Amalgam Collection, based in Bristol, UK, has built a strong reputation for high-quality automotive models, and each offering sells out quickly.
